Rebar foreman — Mercer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Mercer County, Ohio. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Six days a week, one day off.
