We are recruiting: finish carpenter (New Jersey)

Now hiring: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Monmouth County, New Jersey. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. The role involves cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
