Reinforcement fitter wanted in Liberty County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Liberty County, Texas. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On the job you will handle: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour 3+ years on the tools preferred.
