Great opportunity: sand plant operator (Florida)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Putnam County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
