Bulldozer operator — Pitt County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Pitt County, North Carolina. You will be based at a road-building project. Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
