Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Webster Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
