Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes.
