Great opportunity: we are hiring a body shop technician in City and Borough of Salford, England. You will work at a paint and panel shop. Requirements: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage On a typical shift you will read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair. £120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
