Food packing operative wanted in Central Bedfordshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a food packing operative in Central Bedfordshire, England. You will work at a busy packing line. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals • Wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box • Change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams Requirements: • Previous experience on a packing or production line • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Able to follow health and safety procedures 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
