Lift mechanic wanted in City and Borough of Salford

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in City and Borough of Salford, England. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Your main tasks: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Full-time with occasional weekends.
