MIG/MAG welder wanted in Greensville County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Greensville County, Virginia. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
