What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
