Day to day you will treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. You should have: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
