Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Los Angeles County, California. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level Ideal candidate: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Able to read basic scaffold drawings A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
