Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day to day you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines.
