Mesh screen fitter — Cook County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mesh screen fitter in Cook County, Illinois. You will work on a commercial glazing project. Day to day you will fit magnetic strips to hinged and door screens for a self-closing seal; fit pleated (plisse) screens with side tracks and folding mesh; measure window and door openings on site for made-to-measure screens; fit sliding screen doors onto top and bottom guide tracks; drill and fix mounting brackets, hinges and catches to window frames; take on-site measurements and quote materials before ordering. Requirements: • Driving licence for travelling between customer sites • Comfortable working from ladders at height on upper floors Six days a week, one day off.
