Fabricator-welder — Comanche County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Comanche County, Kansas. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On a typical shift you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
