Immediate opening: TIG welder (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Caldwell County, North Carolina. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
