Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Essex County, New Jersey. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer 3+ years on the tools preferred.
