Natural gas fitter • York County, Maine

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in York County, Maine. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Meals and transport allowance provided.
