Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Allegan County, Michigan. You will work at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day to day you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
