Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in City of Kingston upon Hull, England. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. You will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Rotating shifts.
