Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Derry City and Strabane

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £145 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
