Semi-automatic welder — Bourbon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Bourbon County, Kansas. The job is on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
