Now hiring: we are hiring a HGV driver in Klickitat County, Washington. The role involves: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Full-time with occasional weekends.
