Fabrication workshop technician — Lauderdale County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. The role involves read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Full-time, day shift.
