Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Alpine County, California. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Six days a week, one day off.
