Structural MIG welder • Pearl River County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Pearl River County, Mississippi. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
