Confectioner wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Franklin County, New York. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Your main tasks: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Score the top of loaves before baking • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
