Ceramic tiler • Henderson County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Henderson County, Illinois. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. On the job you will handle: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
