Cnc setter-operator wanted in Rock Island County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Rock Island County, Illinois. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
