Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Ada County, Idaho. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience.
