Crane operator — Lake County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Lake County, Florida. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
