Industrial sewing operator — Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Hamilton County, Texas. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Rotating shifts.
