You should have: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Day to day you will check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
