Brickwork mason — Ballard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Ballard County, Kentucky. You will be based on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Six days a week, one day off. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
