Immediate opening: control panel electrician (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Stockton-on-Tees, England. You will be based at a residential housing project. Day-to-day duties: • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
