Machinist wanted in Isles of Scilly

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Isles of Scilly, England. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes.
