Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bee County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
