You should have: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Clean condenser and evaporator coils $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
