Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Shelby County, Kentucky. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter Rotating shifts.
