Solar PV technician • Lowndes County, Mississippi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a solar PV technician in Lowndes County, Mississippi. The job is at a ground-mount solar farm. Your main tasks: • Install string inverters, optimisers and rapid shutdown devices • Install PV modules and torque bolts to manufacturer spec • Carry panels and equipment up ladders and scaffolding safely • Mount racking rails and mounting brackets on roof trusses or ground-mount frames • Carry out continuity and insulation resistance tests on strings • Commission the system and verify output on the inverter monitoring app What we are looking for: • MCS or equivalent solar PV installation certification • Own hand tools, torque wrench and multimeter 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
