Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Scott County, Missouri. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 5+ years on the tools preferred.
