MIG/MAG welder • Parke County, Indiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Parke County, Indiana. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime 1+ years on the tools preferred.
