The role involves report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station; tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
