Sewing machine operator — Dambatta

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Dambatta, Kano State. You will work at a busy garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line We offer ₦1,450 per hour plus benefits.
