Pipe tig welder — Rio Arriba County

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE Rotating shifts.
