Building site helper wanted in Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Polk County, Oregon. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
