Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Cecil County, Maryland. The job is in a meat processing plant. Your main tasks: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 4+ years on the tools preferred.
