Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Ida County, Iowa. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
